i dealt with this kind of traffic for 50 miles. note the minimal shoulder. the drivers were all nice as the road allowed. that's to say i ditched a lot, and it seemed fair for me to do so since so many of them had to go into the other lane, many times when there wasn't that great of visibility. next time i'd stay on the 101 and only have to deal with 10 miles of this along a beautiful lake.
