Raining in Trout Lake

It rained as I varnished the sills at la reve de lacey (the lacey cabin). I'm probably going to head out and do the long route towards Hood River which should avoid any of this weather. The other option is to hitch over the hood river bridge but that keeps me in this weather. The long route is not that hilly, the first part of it being mostly downhill, which is a good start to get me used to the saddle.
